Vax to School: Teachers

Our children's wellbeing, physical, mental and emotional, relies on us as a community, a state, to be a village and take care of our children. Not mine, not yours, but our children. Teachers, school administrators and health officials are coming together to promote getting vaccinated before the 2021-2022 school Year. Every August, we celebrate National Immunization Awareness Month. This year, it's even more important as we consider, not only the usual recommended vaccines, but the COVID-19 vaccine. It is the only way to make sure that in-person learning is safe and effective. So talk to trusted advisors to ensure that students like mine and students like yours in the state of Minnesota have the opportunity to receive this critical education that they all need this year. I'd say definitely do it, go for it, because just doing this makes you feel more confident happy. So look to see if there's vaccination available in your community, at your local school, at your health care provider or you can go to www.vaccines.gov and see the closest place that you can get a vaccine.
